It could've been a beautiful debut, if only lag did not play a part in his crash as Matias Canapino retires in a heartbreaking scene, Martin Antol had a steady debut to finish just outside the points in 16th while Dan-Ove Brantholm continues his points collection with 11th place. Canapino started from 2nd on the grid in a performance we didn't really expect, but his work in Qualifying would turn out to be in vain from the start when the extensively delayed started reduced concentration levels and as Canapino got off the line he was down to 3rd by the 2nd corner.
Brantholm and Antol started further down the order, but would soon gradually go up the grid during the progress of the race.
In the final stages of the race, it would seem that a podium looked to be on the cards for Canapino, but sadly it all came undone as lag on his end put paid to his race with 5 laps to go in the 37 lap race, he has vowed to come back stronger for Japan.
Brantholm came home in 11th in what is a repeat of his Monza performance and Antol arrived in 16th, a steady yet solid debut.
Our other representative in Grid 2 Aleksey Myzin failed to finish his race due to Technical Failure. As we leave Singapore and head for Japan, our Championship Position is 10th* *Subject to change per the Race Checks
